Casey & Co. Events is looking for a Day of Assistant on wedding & event days. A Day of Assistant will be Casey's right hand person in this part time and seasonal position. We pride ourselves on hiring kindhearted, passionate and hardworking assistants who go above and beyond for not only each and everyone one of our clients, but for our team. Job Description

  • Assisting in the morning and stationed at the fiancé's getting ready location (tying ties, pinning boutonnières, keeping them on schedule, etc.).

  • Assisting with and overseeing an accurate set-up of the ceremony and reception site(s). Assisting vendors with their set-up by being close at hand to answer questions with regards to product placement.

  • Assisting and being attentive to the VIP’s throughout the course of the event.

  • Being available to wedding guests to answer their questions and assist them as needed. Directing guests to appropriate areas as needed throughout the evening (i.e. restroom, exits, parking, bar, etc.).

  • Assisting with formalities such as, ceremony processional, lining up for introductions, helping cue music, etc.

  • Helping move personal wedding decor items to repurpose for each event, if applicable. Assisting with the breakdown of personal wedding decor items before departure (escort cards, place cards, favors, table numbers, etc.).


  • High energy, friendly, respectful and has great attention to detail.

  • A passion for this industry is a must.

  • Must have the ability to think quickly on their feet. Must be able to come up with solutions to any given situation and be able to confidently take initiative on executing the solution.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to seamlessly and effectively multi-task. Always has professional appearance on-site and at any client facing meeting.


  • Previous work experience in hospitality/wedding industries, or a passion to break into the industry. Computer skills and literacy in Microsoft Office are a must.

  • Valid Drivers License and reliable access to a vehicle.

  • Must be available on weekends.

  • Must commit to dates at least 6 months in advance.
